Redundancy Pay Calculator

Enter your age, years of service and weekly pay to estimate statutory redundancy pay.

Estimate for general information only — not financial, tax, legal or employment advice. Verify with GOV.UK / HMRC or a qualified professional.

Statutory redundancy pay depends on your age, your length of continuous service (capped at 20 years) and your weekly pay (capped at £719 for 2025/26). You get half a week per year worked while under 22, one week per year while 22 to 40, and one and a half weeks per year while 41 or over. This is the legal minimum — many contracts and settlement agreements pay more.
