Statutory Sick Pay is the legal minimum your employer must pay when you are off sick for four or more days in a row. For 2025/26 it is £118.75 a week, paid from the fourth day (the first three are unpaid waiting days) for up to 28 weeks. This tool estimates the total based on your working pattern. Some employers pay more under company sick pay.
